Elizabeth’s top teeth have finally made an appearance. The second one poked its way through yesterday morning. She’s already realized how handy these new teeth are. She can grind her little zwiebacks to make a sticky saliva paste. She can grind her teeth (which I can’t stand), but her favorite trick is using them to help her stand up. What she does is scoot over to the couch, stretch out her arms and grab the cushion with her fingers which usually end up slipping so she sinks her teeth into the cushion. Once the teeth are firmly planted she can pull herself up to a standing position. This is a great trick except when she tries to use it on the toilet –ewwww!
