Last Saturday we had company over for dinner. While we were wining and
dining, Elizabeth was happily feasting on chick peas. I kept giving her
more because she was sitting so quietly and she had finely found some
real food she likes.

The next morning we were picking her up from the church nursery and the
woman says in a hushed voice that Elizabeth has been very gassey and
gingerly puts her back in my arms—almost like she was handing over a
ticking time bomb. Chick peas are still her favorite so we’ll just have
to keep in mind the aftereffects.
