That is not exactly what you expect to come out of a 26-month-old’s mouth, but Elizabeth has become fascinated with wearing a bra. She found her bikini top and announced that she was “putting her bra on.” I explained to her that she didn’t need to wear a bra till she gets older because she doesn’t have boobs yet–to which she exclaims “I HAVE BOOBS!” I tried to redirect her to some tank-top style undershirts she has, but she said, “No, I want to wear my summer bra.” I gave in and let her wear it all day yesterday, and this morning I hid her “summer bra” where I hope she won’t find it.

At this age, she doesn’t usually remember to bug me about something she can’t find, so I hope the bra pretending is over!
