Who doesn’t love a catchy pro-breastfeeding slogan like “the other white milk”? Well, apparently this slogan touched a nerve with the National Pork Board. Their lawyers have threatened the website that sells the T-shirts (to raise money for a milk bank) with a lawsuit if they continue to sell the shirt.

Despite the fact that the slogan is clearly comparing breast milk to other kinds of milk, The Pork Board is so threatened that they have come out, guns blazing, to protect their “the other white meat” slogan. Their afraid that people will read the shirt and decide not to have pork for dinner because pork is being associated with breast milk. Give me a break! It’s insulting that they think their reputation is tarnished by the association with breast milk.
